Origin of Sinhalese

  The origin of the Sinhalese people, who are the largest ethnic group in Sri Lanka, is a topic of historical and anthropological debate. Sinhalese culture and language have a rich history that spans over two millennia, but tracing their precise origin is challenging due to limited written records and the complexities of ancient migration patterns in the region.
